The Mediterranean Bay Leaf exfoliating scalp treatment is infused with sugar cane, lemon and apple extracts for a gentle exfoliation along with bamboo to clear your scalp and hair follicles of build up. The bay leaf oil controls dandruff and promotes hair growth because it stimulates blood circulation when used on the scalp. This scalp treatment can be used on anyone who feels they have build up and/or dry itchy scalp.In the salon we have used this product on many clients with very thick heavy hair. Many of these clients do not scrub their scalp while shampooing the way they should. When this is the case their scalp has a bulid up of cells that can become very irritating to the skin, smell and can be flaky. It is as if their heavy hair suffocates the scalp. We apply this product to freshly shampooed, wet hair. Directly to the scalp. The Mediterranean Bay Leaf treatment is then massaged into the client's scalp for 7 min, covered w a plastic cap and left on for another 10 min. We have found that it needs to be shampooed out gently and followed by one of Ouidad's daily conditioners.
