How I survive without washing my hair (straight edition)

I know this may sound odd but when I wear my hair straight I typically don’t wash it for a week to a week and a half. I do this by changing styles, or trying to achieve more volume.
I change my styles by wearing my hair in various braids. I either wear my bangs in a braid to create the illusion of volume on my crown or I wear a side pony braid. When I wear my side pony, it isn’t a perfect braid but slightly messy. I do the messy braid for the added volume.
To achieve more volume I tease the top of my crown. Shiny, oily roots are hidden when I tease the top of my crown. Dry shampoo will help the tease last by only focusing at the crown and massaging the product in. For the following days I will wear a medium pony tail, my hair naturally down, or with my face framing layers bobby pinned back to give the crown a fuller look.
These looks help me make the most of my time while wearing my hair straight.
