My husband told me often that he would like to see me own my own hair salon. I never thought I would. On December 27th 2012 my good friend told me to quit complaining about what I would want in a salon and just open my own. Strange that it took some one other than my family to turn on the light bulb in my head!
I went to bed that night and could not sleep! My mind was going 50 miles a minute. What would it be like? Where would it be like? And how could I make it happen? I knew I wanted a fresh, personable, and service orientated atmosphere.
The very next day, I was at 325 S. Main St. looking in windows. I had worked at this address 14 years ago and it as close to my home and the perfect size! So it began the work to open a salon thinking of how I wanted the clients experience to be.
Since I had gone to Ouidad to get certified in the #1 cutting and styling technique for curly hair, my thoughts on service to clients was elevated (not that it was not high before! ). At Ouidad we discussed keeping everything positive and to make sure the clients leave LOVING their hair! When I went to Great Lengths and became certified in hair extensions, again the level of service elevated. Both of those services are high end a00 it caused clients to search me out.
Adores Salon is built on customer service. Our clients mean the world to us. We want everyone to feel proud of the salon they frequent. We want them to enjoy the salon and look forward to their visit. It feels as though you are in a pretty living room ( just with comfortable shampoo chairs! ). We have comfortable chairs, great conversation, and top quality work! We use products that we feel are the best, yet we welcome any suggestions.
