I want each time that they visit me to be the best look they've had yet." Making people feel happier and more confident when they leave the salon has always been the top priority for Marlo. Her passion for her guests and her skill in hair design allows her to send them along with the tools to recreate their new look and bring out their beauty at home. She began her education at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in downtown Ann Arbor and has consistently pursued new skills and techniques as continuing education is of very high priority for her. She continues to find education opportunities in advanced color theory and placement, extensions, and versatile cutting techniques. Marlo has a passion for gaining inspiration through trends within both the beauty and fashion industry and has developed an eye for what can be adapted to real life for her guests. When she isn't behind the chair or an advanced education class you can catch her guest writing posts on various hair and beauty websites; she has been interviewed about technology trends with their pertinence to the salon industry, and has been on stage showcasing her cutting skills for peers at Open Chair Detroit. She enjoys donating her time and skills to various charities including partaking in cut-a-thons, hair donations for children with cancer and local fashion shows.
