Shelia Ferguson, owner of Hair Benders Salon, has been a Redken Performing Artist for 20 years. Her Salon has been recognized as a Redken Elite Salon and one of the top 200 salons in the country by Salon Today Magazine. Governor Don Sundquist appointed Sheila for two terms to represent the East Tennessee State Board Of Cosmetology and The National-Interstate Council of Cosmetology.  Shelia was awarded the 2010 Kingsport Small Business Award for First Place in Woman- Owned Business Enterprise.

Shelia Ferguson was part of history in the making in New York City  in one of fashions largest events.  Vogue's Fashion’s Night Out  staged the largest public fashion show in New York City history at the Lincoln Town Center.  Ferguson showcased her expertise behind the scenes and worked directly with some of the industry’s top models creating hairstyles to set the stage for top designers inspiring trends.
