Salon Oasis, which opened this spring, boasts an almost South Beach snazzed décor. A cascade of white sheers wafts from lofty two story ceilings. Salon Oasis achieves an almost lounge like feel with softly emanating Chill Out music, and its happening environment.

“We developed a very intentional design for the space with what those of us in the beauty industry call ‘color correct lighting’,” says Jeffrey Koket, a co-owner of Salon Oasis and an accomplished colorist himself. “‘Color correct lighting’ allows natural light to pervade in the color room so you see precisely what a client’s hair color will look like when they depart from the salon.”

The sleek, modern look of the more than sixty chair hair salon provides the perfect setting for the international hair design team’s elite clientele who frequent the salon seven days a week for new hues and ‘dos or a quick blow out when  their hair just becomes frizzed or floppy. Corrective color, extensions and texturizing treatments are specialties. Balliage, an intricate hair color placement technique that is used to enhance the dimension of the color, is big in Boca.

If the plan was to build the most client friendly hair salon on the planet, the co-owners of Salon Oasis of Boca Raton have certainly succeeded. Mimosas and champagne are served to clients on silver trays. “The two of us [co-owners] are very involved. We talked and walked through nearly every detail of the client experience at Salon Oasis, to be positive that it would be what we wanted: perfect and flawless,” says Michael Smith. The staff at Salon Oasis staff is incredibly customer service savvy - your wish is their command.

Salon Oasis of Boca Raton was opened in March 2006 by co-owners  Jeffrey Koket and Michael Smith. The two specialize in hair color have been hairstylists in the Boca Raton area for more than forty years collectively.

Michael Smith was born in the UK, and has owned hair salons in South Africa and St. Maarten, NA. Michael has extensive European training in color technique, and is renowned for his highlighting techniques using foils which he has brought in specially from across the pond.
