Hair loss can be very stressful, and some might say it's one of the hardest parts of having cancer and receiving treatment. Loss of hair is one of the most common side effects of cancer treatment, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Due to the fact that our appearance is closely linked to our self-esteem, it becomes emotionally challenging trying to accept sudden changes to our appearance.

Juli, Owner of JuliAnne's Salon & Spa, is an Ovarian Cancer Survivor since 1988. Having gone through the same hair loss challenges herself, Juli feels it is a privilege and honor to assist her guests in their journey to feeling good about their appearance again.

Juli says "You will have good days, and bad days, no doubt. Through my experience, I feel I can help those bad days, and the "not-so-sure" days by giving you the confidence with a complementing hairstyle and wig."

Juli is a certified trainer and motivator at St. Alexius Medical Center for the American Cancer Society's Look Good, Feel Better program that is dedicated to improving the self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. The program also aims to create a sense of support, confidence, courage, and community. Juli is also a member of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. In December 2014, Juli founded "Ride For Hope", a 90 mile motorcycle ride to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Awareness and is National Ovarian Cancer Coalition supported. Join the ride July 29, 2018 to help spread awareness of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer, and to help improve the quality of life for women battling this silent disease.
