My name is Melissa Shelden and I am the owner of Westside Salon.  My vision was always to open my own salon.  I opened Westside Salon on April 1, 2005 and added a boutique in 2015 I have been a stylist for over 20 years.  I'm a firm believer in furthering my education.  My further education includes: Matrix Education, Certificate of Achievement from Matrix Academy, State Beauty Hair Show , merchandising, product, color, and cut classes. My specialties include: cuts, colors, perms and, waxing,  I'm very dedicated to my job and clientele.  The salon has a award winning unique boutique which has also been in 2 National Magazines.  Melissa has also been Hairstylist of the Year.   My goal is to make you feel not just beautiful on the outside but also on the inside.  Thank you for taking the time to browse our website.
