Rita Adriano
Rita has been a massage therapist for 9 years. She was feeling "burned out" after years of soldering/PC assembly work and was between jobs when her dad saw a commercial about massage therapy on television and suggested that she go to school for it since he'd seen her massage the shoulders/back/neck of family and friends over the years. He knew that she would enjoy it. In her free time she loves hanging out with friends, going to the pool, going to Christian concerts, going to Worlds of Fun, playing games on the computer, and going to outdoor festivals.
Being able to make a positive difference in the quality of a person's health and life by reducing stress and pain caused by muscle tension inspires her to continue growing in her field. Rita is serious about helping people to improve their health and life through massage therapy. She specializes in deep tissue and trigger point massage to relieve and reduce tension and pain. She is part of a great spa team who has been voted "Best in the Northland" for many years running. In the future, she plans to study Chinese medicine; to learn the meridians and acupressure points. She would also like to learn more about Myofascial Release techniques. It is very rewarding to her when her clients come in with headaches, shoulder, neck, and back pain, and leave with no pain or at least much reduced intensity of pain. She enjoys deep tissue massage because it is more therapeutic and has longer lasting results.
