Mavis began her journey to becoming a nail specialist through the love of being obsessed with her own nails! She then began to love making the nails of her friends and family members beautiful. Mavis then decided her passion for nails would be her lifelong career! In pursuing her nail career, Mavis furthered her education and training through Tammy Taylor nail classes, she has also taken multiple online classes and several business classes. Athough her career began over 28 years ago, Mavis continues to stay up to date with the latest trends by being mentored alongside her friend and colleague, Lea Ann Watts at Image Makers. Mavis has been married to her husband for 36 years, together they have 4 beautiful children and 10 amazing grandchildren. Mavis specializes in nails and pedicures and she also loves cleaning, organizing, and crafting. Mavis has been part of our Image Makers family since 1997. Mavis almost always has a funny salon story to tell; she loves to laugh, have fun and would love to have you in her chair for all your manicure and pedicure needs.
