Reopening Plan!

Thank you all for your messages of love and support during our temporary closure. We are excited to announce that Hairbenders Salon will be reopening on Monday June 1st, 2020! We are thrilled to see you all again, and thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we learn to navigate our 'new normal' as Beauty Professionals. ❤

We will begin the rebooking process on May 18th. During this first week we will not be taking phone calls at the salon. Instead our limited staff will be looking over our schedules and contacting clients directly to rebook them. If you have previously scheduled appointments with us, please know that the time and date of those appointments may change due to shifting Stylist schedules to keep in compliance with new regulations. If you would like to contact us during this time, please email us at and we will be sure to get back to you. We will begin taking calls for appointments beginning the week of May 25th. 

We will be offering Hair and nail services beginning June 1st. Waxing and makeup services are not permitted during this time. There are many new regulations required of us and our guests as we reopen, and we wanted to make you aware of the ones that will affect your visit directly. Please keep in mind that these regulations are required to keep us all safe and healthy!

* All of our staff members will be required to wear masks, as will ALL of our guests. We ask that you wear a mask that loops around your ears. If you do not have an appropriate mask, you may purchase one at the salon. 

* Our waiting area will be closed. We ask that you wait outside or in your vehicle until we call you to let you know your Stylist is ready for you.

*We ask that you come to your appointment alone, and that you limit what personal items you bring. 

*Children under 10 will not be serviced at this time, since all guests must be able to come into the appointment alone and follow mask/social distance requirements. 

*When you come in you will be asked to wash your hands or use provided hand sanitizer.

*Clients will not be able to browse and/or touch products. If you would like to purchase products your Stylist will assist you. 

*We will be calling all scheduled appointments the day before their service and asking health questions relating to Covid-19. You will also be asked these questions on the day of your appointment before you enter the salon. We will also be taking your temperature as you enter the salon. 

*We will not be offering blowdry styling with any service at this time, to prevent the forced air spread of germs.

*No snacks or beverages will be provided. Unfortunately we can not allow food or drink in the salon at this time.

*Touchless  payment. We ask that you pay with check or card, and when possible we request that you pay by card during your confirmation call the day prior to your service.

*Although we will not be accepting cash as payment for services, if you would like to bring something extra for your Stylist in cash, she will be able to accept that at her station. 

*Stylist schedules and salon hours of operation will be changing to limit the number of people in the salon at a time and to maintain social distancing requirements. This may also mean some phone calls will not be answered immediately. Please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

*We are implementing many new sanitation guidelines for the safety and protection of our guests that compliment the already strict protocols we have always followed at Hairbenders. The extra cost of PPE and sanitation time required between appointments has resulted in a $3.00 COVID-19 charge being added to each service. This cost is temporary, and will be reevaluated as restrictions are loosened. 

We will continue to provide the excellent services you expect from us, even under these altered conditions. Please know that these measures are temporary, and we will reevaluate and adjust them as it is safe to do so.
