ABOUT UNIVERSITY ACADEMY OF HAIR DESIGN
Our Purpose
Our purpose is simple. It’s all about you: We exist to help our students fulfill their dreams by seeking to understand them as individuals, delivering a strong technical platform, and providing creative freedom. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our program in order to keep up with current educational needs in the field you are entering.
Our Mission
While the basics are requirement for your licensure, much more is expected of you as a professional cosmetologist, and/or instructor.
The goals of University Academy of Hair Design are to train students to pass the state licensure exam and provide training that exceeds the professional field they are entering.
University Academy of Hair Design is not basic or state board prep; it is an opportunity to step into a career path to succeed.
Institutions Facility
University Academy of Hair Design was opened in August of 2004. It’s over 6000 square feet located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The facility features premiere salon equipment, two spacious classrooms that can be closed off from the rest of the facility, and a reception area with computerized booking of clients. A library of cosmetology reference books, video, and DVDs are available for students to check out during regular student hours.
