Julianne Kirkland
Owner
Julianne started her salon career as the evening front desk associate in a small salon in Athens. Determined to grow further in the field, she apprenticed under a Redken artist to learn how to do hair. Julianne realized early on that her passion lied within guest services, although she enjoyed performing hair services, she craved to learn more about the business functions behind a successful salon. She has studied under and been mentored by several influential salon industry professionals.
Melissa Roane
Level 4A Stylist, Owner, Redken Color Certified - Athens Town Blvd
Melissa has been doing hair for over nine years. To further her craft, in 2001 she went to Redken Exchange in New York where she became a Certified Color Specialist. Sorella is thrilled to have Melissa as a part of their management team. She brings talent, enthusiasm & leadership to every facet of the salon. Melissa encourages salon development through education and propels Sorella’s mission of unmatched guest service. Melissa is excited to help create that "look" you have been waiting for.
Casey Jo Laviolette
Level 4 Stylist, Owner, Redken Authority - Barnett Shoals Road
Casey Jo joined the Sorella Team in August of 2013. She has been doing hair for over 14 years and brings a sweet, southern charm to connect with each of her clients. Casey Jo takes the time to make all of her guests feel right at home! Whether you are looking for special color or a new style, Casey Jo looks forward to helping you design the look that is right for you!
Emily Gearhart
Director of Guest Services - Athens Town Blvd
Emily moved to Athens from Los Angeles in 2009 and got her first job at the front desk of a salon and spa. She immediately fell in love with the industry. Emily attended the Process Institute of Cosmetology hair design program, but realized that her passion was business and customer service. After a few years in the business world, Emily joined the Sorella team in 2016. She brings enthusiasm to our studio and loves seeing the team reach its highest potential. Emily's hope is that every guest feels special and cared for during their time at Sorella.
Chelsea Davis
Level 3 Stylist and Guest Services Specialist - Barnett Shoals Road
Chelsea graduated from The Process and is a great addition to the Sorella Team. Chelsea began her career with Sorella as an associate under our Redken Color Certified Specialist. Chelsea loves what she does and it is evident in the loyalty of her guests. Chelsea is eager to help you create "the look" you have been waiting for.
Sami Johnson
Level 2 Stylist
Sami joined the Sorella Team in June 2014 after finishing Cosmetology School in Athens. Her captivating personality inspires others as she creates the best look for each individual guest. If you have a picture of your favorite style, Sami loves to recreate it & customize it to your hair needs. If you hear someone singing along to our play lists, it is probably Sami as she is our resident karaoke artist!
Micki Wisenbaker
Esthetician, Massage Therapist - Athens Town Blvd
Micki Wisenbaker, a Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Reflexologist for over 15 years, uses her education and intuition to promote health, wellness, and transformation to her devoted clients. Her integrative approach of practicing the healing arts combines relaxation with results-oriented techniques. She trusts that when vital self-care practices are aligned with awareness of the mind/body connection, powerful healing occurs. When not working at our new spa at the west side location, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three cats, and working in the community for women’s empowerment.
Alyssa Trossevin
Level 2 Stylist, Redken Authority, Pureology Certified - Barnett Shoals Road
Alyssa joined the Sorella Team in December 2014. She started her career as an Associate under a Redken Color Certified Specialist. Alyssa enjoys working on men's haircuts and short hair styles for women, as well as special foiling techniques for color. Alyssa takes the time to get to know what style her guests are looking for and what would look best on them. She looks forward to meeting you and creating your ideal style.
Brittany Wood
Level 1 Stylist, Redken Authority, Pureology Certified - Barnett Shoals Road
Brittany recently graduated from our associate program where she continued to develop and expand her skill while studying under one of our lead stylist(who is a Redken Color Certified Specialist). Brittany loves doing hair, almost as much as she loves all things Disney! She has a captivating personality and will make you feel welcomed when you walk through our doors! Brittany has recently completed further Redken education by becoming a Redken Specialist. Brittany awaits the opportunity to work with you in creating your perfect look!
Haley Shinall
Level 1 Stylist, Redken Authority, Pureology Certified - Barnett Shoals Road
Haley will be taking guests starting in January '16. Haley has a great personality and a creative eye for color. Haley may be new to our company but her skill says otherwise! Haley is excited to create your new look and recommend the hair care regimen that is right for you!
Tracie Patrick
Level 1 Stylist, Make Up Artist - Athens Town Blvd
Tracie left the medical world in 2015 to pursue a new career path. She graduated in July of 2016 from the Keune Academy by 124 as a Level 3 senior stylist. She loves to work with short hair and can cut a killer bob. She is always up for any color challenge or transformation. She believes that every person who sits in her chair has a sign around their neck that says "I need to feel special!". In her spare time Tracie loves to travel and listen to music. She is also a very talented makeup artist and can give you the perfect airbrushed makeup for your special day!
Brittany Ayers
Level 1 Stylist, Make Up Artist - Athens Town Blvd
Brittany is a country girl from the big city of Hartwell, GA. She left the family farm in 2015 to attend the Masters of Cosmetology program at Athens Technical College. She excelled in everything she did during her time in the Sorella associates program and is excited to start her career on the floor. Brittany loves balayage and painting color on hair to create a beautiful melted transition. She stays on top of every new trend, and makes sure that each of her guests leave with a perfectly polished finish!
Sarah Brooks
Level 1 Stylist, Nail Tech - Athens Town Blvd
Sarah joined the Sorella team with lots of cutting and design experience. She loves giving her guests a fresh style or something completely new. She has had the opportunity to train under Redken Color Certified stylists and Redken Brand Ambassadors. She is excited to grow her business with Sorella and continue her color education. She is also a part of our nail department. Sarah is excited to offer manicures and pedicures to our guests. When not at the salon Sarah is with her two small girls enjoying being a mom!
Shelly Morris
Level 1 Stylist, Nail Tech, Esthetician - Athens Town Blvd
Shelly has lived in the Athens area for over 20 years. In early 2015 she decided to take a leap and start a new career. After attending the Georgia Institute of Cosmetology, where she graduated with honors, she began the associate programs and was able to train under one of our Redken Certified Stylists. Shelly is a jack of all trades. She is excited to offer our guests hair, skin and nail services. Shelly loves to make people feel good about themselves. When not at the salon Shelly likes to be outside in nature with her two kids and dog.
Kenzie Anderson
Level 1 Stylist - Athens Town Blvd/ Barnett Shoals Road
Kenzie relocated to the Athens area in the summer of 2016, and joined the Sorella team to continue her education. She brings a passion for fashion and a great eye for color. Kenzie love creating a total look for her guests, from the design and color to the final blowout. When not behind the chair she enjoys spending time with her daughter Teagan and experiencing new things in the Athens area.
Mary Cook
Level 1 Stylist, Esthetician - Barnett Shoals Road/ Athens Town Blvd
Mary has been with Sorella since July of 2016 and has been a wonderful addition to our team! With her amazing artistic style Mary can create looks ranging from classic to edgy. She loves living in Athens surrounded by the music and creativity. Mary is a part of both the salon and spa team. She is excited to offer body waxing and facials in addition to her services behind the chair.
Amanda Hamarics
Associate Program - Barnett Shoals Road
Amanda is new to our company and beginning her journey through our associates program This program is designed to give a stylist hands on education and allow them to ask questions in a safe, real world environment. Amanda is eager to finish cosmetology school and our associates program. Once completed she will be fully equipped to handle your hair care needs, and if she can't answer your question, she works closely with those who can!
