3-15-2010: Time is flying along and we're looking forward to spring weather. We lost a wonderful friend and partner, our State Beauty sales rep Judy Peters. She passed March 6th from Ovarian Cancer and is one of the personal reasons we raise money annually for the NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition). The details for this year's event are on our NOCC page.
We have a new Keritn Smoothing System and the first results have brought rave reviews. We continue to go to educational events locally and in Manhattan at the Redken Exchange.
Finally, we have started our expansion process!!! We hope to be in our new space (same location) in June. Stay tuned for more details!
12-6-2009: It's been a busy and exciting time for us lately! Keri-Lyn and Courtney are in NYC this week taking classes at the Redken Exchange.
Natilie Lechleiter joined us as an asscoiate in mid October. She just won runner-up in a national competition called "Runway to Everyday" sponsered by Redken. She will receive a free class to the Redken Exchange in New York, air fare and hotel, and $500 spending money!!!
This last saturday, Dec. 5th, we receieved a letter from Salon Today Magazine informing us that we have been voted one of the TOP 200 SALONS IN AMERICA!!! The Jan/Feb 2010 isssue will list the TOP 200. We are very honored and grateful for this recognition. We owe it to our dedicated staff, our sales consultant Judy Peters, our district Redken rep Michelle Childress, our KRS consultant Kim Bennett, Matt Fieler and State Beauty, Redken and Pureology, and of course all our wonderful guests who come through our door everyday!!!

10--2009 Salon Ya Ya was voted the #3 Salon in Nashville Scene "Best of Nashville" Redaers Poll. Thank you to our incrediblly hard working salon family, our support team, and of course our wonderful patrons. Thank you for voting for us and thank you for supporting our small independent business! We are very grateful for everything.
8-18-2009: As many of you know, we hosted a fundraiser on June 26th at The Mercy Lounge benefiting the NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition). This was part of a national campaign promoted by Pureology Hair Care.
We received an award yesterday from Pureology because Salon Ya Ya raised MORE MONEY THAN ANY OTHER SALON IN THE NATION DURING THIS CAMPAIGN!!! It's only because of the amazing team of people we have, including our dedicated, hardworking staff, our sales consultant Judy Peters, our district rep Michelle Childress, and all the amazings friends who played our benefit, donated auction items, and helped us make it happen. We share this with all of you!! Thank you for your help and support, and we'll see you next spring at the next "Rock for Ovaries" NOCC fundraiser!
4-2-2009: Marilyn just returned from a three-day class at the REDKEN EXCHANGE in Manhattan. Called "Dressing the Bride", it was an intense learning experince culminating in a photo shoot with professional models. She's excited to share what she learned with our other staff members, so we'll be ready with the latest styling trends for proms, weddings, and all your special occasions!
