Our salon is dedicated to service and value. All of our licensed specialists sincerely enjoy what we do and it is reflected in the loyalty of our clients. We promise individual attention and great value for all of our customers. We offer FREE Wifi service to all of our valued patrons.
 

Appointments

We are pleased to announce our new appointment policies and times, which are designed to better serve your needs and ensure a safe and pleasant experience for everyone.  Effective 9/01/2023, all appointments will be made with a 15 minute buffer.  This buffer will account for delays whether by the customer or stylist.  We schedule appointments according to our specialists’ availability and specialty. If you are running late, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Arriving late will likely limit the time allocated for your service; it will lessen the effectiveness and most importantly your pleasure and enjoyment.  Clients can cancel or modify appointment at any time prior to 48 hours of the appointment.  There after, and cancellations within 48 hours will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.  Any cancellations or No show the day of appointment will be charged 100% of all services scheduled.

Services of $150 & Up will require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of scheduled service.  This 50% non-refundable deposit will be applied to bill at checkout. 

We recommend that you schedule your future services while still on the permises or using our online scheduling platform.  Many stylists schedule a few months in advance and we want to be sure you get the time you want.
 

Service Guarantee

Salon Shear Genius is a team environment, and our customer satisfaction is our number one guarantee. We want to ensure that you walk out our door happy – it will stay that way.  If for any reason you are unhappy with the service(s) (ex. Cut or Color) that were provided, or just simply needed a quick fix, we would like to have an opportunity to have you come back into the salon to have the services corrected complimentary.
 

  • Clients are welcome to come in with their original stylist for the correction.

  • If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected.  When returning for a correction service, please contact SSG no later than seven (7) days of original service date.  We will honor the complimentary correction service within seven (7) days of original service date.  After the seven (7) days of the original service date, the service becomes void.  

  • Please note that the correction guarantee does not apply if the client decides to completely change the original look given from their last service of dispute.

  • SSG does not issue refunds on salon services.  We will ONLY provide salon credit for refunds.  

  
If you are ever dissatisfied with your retail purchase, you may bring back your product (unused and in original packaging) for an exchange, or store credit no later than fourteen (14) days of purchase date.  Proof of purchase will need to accompany any exchanges and/or Salon Credit to be given.  

 

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of your service and at your discretion, they are greatly appreciated. We apologize for the inconvenience; however gratuity cannot be applied to credit cards.
 

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available at the front desk. (Non-refundable)
