Julia Herschberger
It is hard to imagine a time when Salon J was not an essential destination in downtown Goshen. In November 2008 owner and master stylist, Julia Herschberger, took an old garage behind the glamorous Jules Boutique and turned it into a unique, spunky salon where budding and seasoned stylists could practice and expand their skills.
Over the past decade Salon J has experienced several facelifts including a new back-alley entrance installed in 2009 and a recent interior remodeling. However, despite the layout changes and shifts in color schemes Salon J is still providing the same excellent hair styling and detail work in it’s forever warm and inviting atmosphere.
Julia appreciates nothing more than seeing clients excited about dressing up and going to the salon. So, having mastered the art of styling and coloring hair, Julia enjoys spreading her passion for beauty and creativity by lending her expertise to fashion shows and other downtown events. In particular, she enjoys coupling her work with Jules Boutique, whose owner is a close friend and constant inspiration.
In her spare time Julia enjoys running with the Goshen Dam Beer Run Club, experimenting with fun healthy recipes, and entertaining friends and family, especially for her two young sons and their neighborhood friends.
