Stylist

If you want a stylist who is highly trained and experienced, one who will help you find your bold, creative side, then Maybree is the one for you.

Not only is she highly trained, she loves a challenge. While attending cosmetology school at Xenon she placed first in two competitions: Best Blow out and Best Avant Garde Up-Do Reenactment. She was also asked to apply make-up for both Christopher Benson and Lenny Strands models. Her big goal is to become a platform artist or educator. In the last year Maybree became Aveda certified, took a Brazilian blowout class, a Babe extensions class, a Pravana vivid hair color class, and a Michael Cole business course.

One of the memories that sticks with her most and what keeps her excited about her work is; one-day a new client arrived at Novel Hair heavy hearted, she was a new mom who was spending 70 hours a week working as a veterinarian. She hadn't colored her hair in years and wanted to do something bold, they talked it over and decided on peekaboo highlights all over in blue, teal and purple. When the client saw the finished product, she was GLOWING with happiness, she said she hadn't felt that pretty in years.

When she’s not creating art with hair and make-up Maybree enjoys spending time with her family, singing, sketching portraits, and she LOVES creating spray paint art.
