After moving from Alaska in 2009, I have been working in the beauty industry in Seattle for the past 5 years. I started my journey with Gene Juarez at the Northgate academy. Upon graduating I took my first steps into the cosmetology world as a men's specialist designer at Shear Madness Barber Salon located in the heart of Seattle's University District on the Ave. After over a year of close cuts, fading, and beard trimming, I made a leap to the opposite end of the hair spectrum: coloring.
It was time for a new challenge, and that is what drew me back to my alma-mater at Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon. There I spent 8 months immersed in the world of color while working alongside one of Gene Juarez’s finest, Jason Lewis. After completing my apprenticeship with Jason and graduating from the Advanced Training Salon, I worked at their Bellevue location as a certified colorist and continued to learn and grow my business by certifying in Balayage, Keratin Express, and Permanent Keratin smoothing treatments.
I am happy to say I have found my new home at Mollie Michelle Boutique Salon, where I continue to indulge in my passion for beautiful hair. With the help of L'Oreal I am working as an ammonia free artist, and thanks to Kerastasé I am able to give you the healthiest hair you have ever had!
