Level 6....Cortney loves thinking outside of the box and being creative with color and how it flows with every cut.  She works well with placement of a few different types of hair extensions. Her specialty is getting to know the person sitting in her chair and knowing right away what they are looking for.  She was able to go to New York City for the Exchange Color Course for our Redken color line and back to New York City to sharpen her cutting skills. Venturing on in the learning department, Cortney finally made it to one of Rekens biggest show The Redken Symposium in Las Vegas! Cortney has also been to smaller classes and hair shows all over the Midwest to further her education. Outside of work Cortney has taken on the roll of being mom in the last few years and is enjoying every minute of it, she also enjoys being on the lake, riding motorcycle, snowmobiles, playing softball and hanging out with friends and family. Cortney recently took on another new adventure in her life with her boss Julie Mitchell, they decided to sign on with a school franchise "The Salon Professional Academy" and open their own cosmetology school in Maplewood, MN. Cortney's plan is to still work behind the chair a couple days a week but able to fill her other dream and be apart of the cosmetology school helping others make their dreams come true.
