Tonya has been doing hair all of her life including cutting all the hair on her dolls when she was little. She owes her career to her mom who suggested she go to cosmetology school as it would be “something she could always fall back on.” Fast forward to today and she’s still doing it. Her passion for hair is undeniable…you can see it in her face when she is cutting hair. Tonya knows the basis for any style starts with the perfect cut, then you build the color around it. She is an expert in hair color and color correction. When meeting a new Guest her focus is completely on them. She listens to every detail of their likes and dislikes. Tonya’s work has been published in the internationally distributed Passion hair book. A few of Tonya’s certifications include Redken Artist, Redken Certified Colorist and Redken Certified Designer. She has worked behind stage at countless hair shows with Redken’s most elite educators. Tonya also worked at Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s Fashion’s Night Out in New York City. This is an annual worldwide event to get shopper’s shopping to help the economy and the fashion industry. It is an event that preempts Fashion Week.
